We are seeking a motivated Underground Production Engineer to join our Northern mining operations on an 8/6 roster. Apply your underground mining expertise to optimise production through effective planning, scheduling, and drill & blast execution in a safety-first operation.



Key responsibilities:

  • Complete stope reconciliations and reporting (including stope notes)
  • Develop short-term and 13-week production schedules
  • Prepare and review drilling, blasting, and charging plans
  • Manage mine databases (Plodtrack & Livemine) and contractor data
  • Monitor performance, track KPIs, and report to management
  • Support underground projects and mentor Junior Engineers
  • Deliver ventilation models, surveys, and planning (incl. Ventilation Officer duties if required)
  • Produce teleremote bogging plans and weekly schedules
  • Ensure QA/QC of drill & blast activities
  • Identify critical path activities across budgets, forecasts, and plans
  • Comply with POSP and site safety requirements



About You:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mining)
  • Practical production and planning experience in mechanised hard-rock underground mining, preferably with exposure to highly productive narrow vein mining
  • Proficient in Deswik (CAD/UGDB) and Microsoft Office
  • WA C Class Driver’s Licence
  • Desirable: First Aid, Dyno/Orica experience
